Jim Palm first established Palm Engineering in 1977 as an “at-home” design company. Early growth – thanks to Jim’s expertise in both designing and building – led to impressive success with designs for Fort Wayne’s Dana plant. As Jim moved toward more engineered product, and the skillful design of custom lubrication, filtration, and water purification systems, he was able to move Palm Engineering out of the house and into the state-of-the-art facilities Palm Engineering and Sales occupies today.
Jim’s son, Rich, began working for Palm at the age of fifteen, installing systems while going to school. Today he is one of only six employees, whose total experience in the industry is equal to more than 90 years. Jim has purposely kept his employee roster at a minimum, limiting it to only the best experts in industrial lubrication, water purification, and filtration design.
